Hi friends, Any pros/cons to the area by the Opera House? Is it close to the main sites? Dining options?

We like it. We always use Hotel Sonya just across the street from the Opera House. It is on the edge of the main sites but handy to the public transit hub and Termini. Probably a 15 min, at most, to most of the sites. And an hour to the Vatican but you can easily catch the bus at the plaza across from Termini. Several nice local restaurants in the area.
