I am looking for feedback on who has used FreeNow taxi in Rome. I will be traveling with my senior mother who is in good shape but want to make things easier for her. Looking to use this as our only transportation around the city.
You can do a search of other mentions of Free Now on the Forum; I believe several of our regular Italy-based or Italian posters have said it's a fully reliable service.
I have used it on my last couple trips to Rome, mostly when dining out of the center and needing a ride back to my hotel somewhat late at night. No problems, easy and reliable. On another note, I went to Rome with my mother a couple times, and we also made use of nearby taxi ranks (and I think called for taxis sometimes too--this was in the pre-app days). Enjoy your trip.
Took this company from the airport to the Airbnb. No problem at all. It reminded me of a cross between an Uber and a taxi.
