Rome Forum, Palatine Hill and Imperial Forum

We are looking into the "super Pass" ticket for forum, Palatine, and Imperial forum. A few questions.

1) It says valid for 30 days from purchase and 1 entry to each. So that seems simple enough. I can buy in advance and pick any day within 30 days to go to the sites.
2) It seems there is really just 1 entrance for Forum/Palatine hill, meaning once you are in for one, you are in for both. Can someone confirm.
3) Plan on entering at "Arch di Titus". Looks like turn right for Forum and left for Palatine. Are there other exits, specifically up around Alter of Fatherlands?
4) Is there someone checking tickets for entry to the "super sites" within the forum/Palatine or do you just go in these buildings...
5) Looking on aerial maps, it looks like much of the Imperial Forum is visible from the street level. What is included in this ticket access?

2) there are two entrances to Forum, one entrance to Palatine Hill. The two sites are connected once you're inside.
4) there is someone checking tickets. The Forum and Palatine are complexes of ruins of buildings. You don't really go "in" them, rather you walk amongst their ruins.

5) ticket access includes access to the archeological park and allows you to walk amongst the ruins and get close. You can see the ruins from a distance from various viewpoints around the park for free.

If I can, can I also add a question.

Can you hire a guide inside the Forum when you arrive . Eg like at Pompeii. Reason for asking. I want to buy underground tickets through Coopculture. Which includes a tour of the colosseum but not the forum.

It would be ideal to have a guided tour of the Forum as I believe this will add to my understanding?

If you can’t hire a guide inside then I will probably arrange a tour through a third party.

Bill: Regarding your #2: I can quote what I read in RS' Italy guidebook, 26th edition, p. 861: "If you want to see Palatine Hill, don't leave the Forum complex; you won't be allowed back in without a new ticket. Instead, return to the Arch of Titus."
We too bought the Super Pass ticket for the Forum and Palatine Hill for our upcoming visit and hope we don't accidentally leave the Forum. I'm mainly interested in the view of the surrounding area from Palatine Hill...including the Colosseum.

Trent: If you can't hire a guide for the Forum, RS has a FREE audio tour. He also mentions in his guidebook that you can rent an audioguide for the Forum. We are heading there in about two weeks...and I'm doing last-minute cram-reading.

Hopefully when you are there, the super pass sites are open. We bought the pass this past June, however, 90% of the super pass sites weren't open. Very disappointing.

Just some more clarifications on the "Super Pass" for Rome Forum/Palatine, and Imperial Forum

1) It says valid for 30 days from purchase and 1 entry to each place. So I can go to the Imperial Forum on a Saturday PM and the combined Roman Forum/Palatine on the following Monday as long as both are within the 30 day window?

2) We will use the RS audio guide for the forum. Is there an audio guide for Palantine?
