While in Rome, we would like to see some live theatre. Any suggestions? Also...is there a beach close to Rome that we could go to for the day?

You'll get better answers if you tell us when you will be in Rome. Also, do you want to be able to swim in the water, or just lie out in the sun?

We are there 6/22-7/8. Would like to take a day to relax at the beach. Swimming is not essential.

The easiest beach to get to is Lido di Ostia, to the South and West of Rome. It only costs 1 euro by Metro/Train to get there.
