Hi there - I have one extra day in Rome and would like to book a food tour in September.
Any suggestions on a fun, informative, guide?
Thank you in advance for your help!

I like tours by Eating Italy. I’ve taken three — Testaccio, Trastevere and one by St. Peter’s (Can’t recall the name of the district). I liked Testaccio the best. In addition to touring the great Testaccio market, you’ll see the Protestant cemetery, where several notable authors are buried, the Rome pyramid and Monte Testaccio, formed by mounds of ancient amphorae shards. And the food is terrific. Trastevere tour is als good. Can’t say that I enjoyed the one near St. Peter’s as much, but this was primarily because I did not care for the guide, who, instead of sampling food with the group, drank her own vitamin supplement instead. Made me feel like she didn’t care for the food...
Thanks so much Patricia! Appreciate the detailed post.
