Looking for recommendations for a good food tour in Rome. Anyone have any experience with these? What would you recommend?
Last august we did the “trastevere local food tour” offered by:
https://www.thetourguy.com/
Would definitely recommend although I should note the food tour actually started at piazza farnese so it’s not 100% trastevere
Eating Europe is my go-to for food tours. I’ve taken four in past years (Rome, London and Paris) and have two scheduled this year (Florence and Rome). All have been enjoyable experiences. https://www.eatingeurope.com/rome/
hey hey WNC
there are so many great tours and some others didn’t care about. read what they offer, where, times/days available, your decision.

We did this food tour with Devour Tours in September 2023 before our Rick Steves tour:
Trastevere at Sunset: Rome Food and Wine Tour
https://devourtours.com/tours/rome-trastevere-gourmet-food-wine-tour/
Enjoyed the tour. Not only do you get to eat wonderful food, but you get a tour of the Trastevere neighborhood as well.
The Eating Europe tours are always very good. “Twilight Trastavere” would be my top choice. I felt like their Testaccio tour didn’t rate quite as highly food wise, but was a great way to experience the neighborhood. Testaccio has an interesting history, working class culture, and is gaining the growing attention of tourists.
Anyone do the Foodie's Delight Trastevere tour? Would love to hear a review.
Also, I've heard good things about the Eating Well Trastevere tour, and I know they've had promo codes in the past.. Anyone know of one?
If you mean Eating Europe Trastevere
Try
EATWELL10
Thanks. Yes, that's the one I mean. Unfortunately, that code isn't working anymore.
