Rome food or wine tour recommendations?

Hello all! I have so far found two recommended tours involving food or wine, and am wondering if there are any others recommended. I have looked into the EatingItalyFoodTour.com and the evening wine tour via Antiqua Tours. Both look nice. I'm wondering if the EatingItalyTour, which looks more fun, to me, is difficult in terms of the four hours of walking. I will be with my 70-year-old mother and want her to get the most out of the trip. While she's fit, she does get tired on her feet after awhile. Any suggestions on an easier walking food tour? Or, can anyone tell me if the walking is not very bad after all? Thank you!

Hello Renee, My husband, Charles, and I who are both in our late 60s, did the Eating Italy Food Tour a couple months ago and absolutely loved it. I was a little concerned about the waling as well for my husband but they did a great job of pacing the tour and stopping for some breaks, including sitting down at this fabulous restaurant where we tried 3 delicious pasta dishes. What was also beneficial was that the area was very flat so the walk wasn't hard on my husband's knees. Renee, I couldn't recommend this tour highly enough- it was one of the highlights on our two week trip to Italy. I actually wrote a long review describing our experience on Tripadvisor and you can check that here: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g187791-d2201794-Reviews-Eating_Italy_Food_Tours_in_Rome-Rome_Lazio.html Happy Eating and Enjoy Italy (I'm jealous)

Hello Holly, This is just the information I was seeking! Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I have read so many other posts on this tour, and many of them, like you, say this was among the highlights of their trips. I'm booking it! Thank you again so much. I feel much better knowing the pace isn't anything to be worried about. Thank you for helping me make my mom's birthday trip that much more spectacular! Renee
