We (group of 4) will be traveling to Rome May 4-10. We would like to hit the usual sites in Rome, with a couple of day trips to Florence for some sightseeing. Does anyone have any recommendations for an English-speaking tour guide(s) they would for Rome or Florence? TIA.

IMHO, exploring Florence via a couple of separate day trips from Rome sort of eats precious sightseeing time in transport: twice TO Florence and twice FROM Florence. Could you stay over night instead?
