Rome Fiumicino Shared Transfer

Has anyone used VIATOR shared transfers (like Super Shuttle) from Fiumicino to Rome City Center? Had planned on taking the Leonardo Express to Termini and then probably walking from there. But the shared transfer is just a few euro more and it takes you right to the door of your Hotel. I know it will take longer as they will also most likely be dropping off other people but one then gets a little tour of Rome too. I have been to Rome several times, but my friend has not. Their web site looks really good and all reviews on the site rate them highly for service and reliability, but I guess they wouldn't post bad reviews. Just wonder if anyone has used them recently. Their name came up via googling the Rome Fiumicino Airport site.;

Viator is a reseller /aggregator that pretty much always charges over the odds prices (just look at how much they charge for Vatican Museum tickets compared to the official Vatican website or how much they charge for soccer tickets compared to listicket who are the official vendor for many clubs). For this reason I steer well clear of Viator as I don't like to support a business that price gouges.

If you prefer not to get the train, I would suggest catching a cab for 48Euro (fixed price) to anywhere within the Aurelian Walls (central Rome). That way you don't have to worry about finding your shared transfer shuttle or it not being there on time when you arrive.

I agree with mph. For two people, if you're not taking the Leonardo Express, just take a taxi.
