Rome FCO to Rome CIA

My family is arriving at Rome FCO at 7:00am on July 1st. We need to get to Frankfurt. I am looking at a Ryanair flight out of Rome CIA leaving at 11:30am. Would purchase family plus so should get priority boarding. Will probably hire a car to get between airports. Will we have enough time?

How confident are you of arriving into FCO without delays???

I know I wouldn’t personally do this.

Where are you coming from? Will you have passed thru immigration-passport control before landing at FCO?

I would not do this. This is not enough time

You have to be ON THE PLANE by 11:10.

You do realize the Ryanair flight goes to Frankfurt Hahn (HHN)----- NOT FRA ( Frankfurt am Main)

HHN is about 80 miles west of Frankfurt---

FRA is about 8 miles from Frankfurt

Is there some reason you did not take the Lufthansa DFW-FRA non-stop flight?

Doing what you propose needs only one modest hiccup to send everything off the rails.
Not something I would attempt.

I would get to Frankfurt by other means. It seems like an awkward way to go to FRA coming from North America. Besides I think Ryanair flies to Hahn, which is quite a distance from Frankfurt.

We have opted for a flight to Cologne much later in the day. Thank you everyone. BTW, flying in and out of Rome costing us about $2500 less than into Frankfurt and out of Rome.

I guess we're all slightly confused, where in Germany is your final destination? If it is indeed Frankfurt, you still have a 1 1/2-2 2 1/2 train ride.

It now makes sense. That little tidbit would have helped initially.
