Rome during Holy Week (Easter)

Hello!
I'm traveling to Italy with my family and plan to be in Rome during Holy Week (Easter), more specifically on Wednesday - April 16 and Saturday/Sunday April 19-20.

We plan on visiting the Vatican on Wednesday afternoon, and I have tickets reserved.

Any tips on what to do or what to avoid while in Rome during Easter Week?
