We are taking a family trip in Italy but my husband and I have a few days at the beginning by ourselves. We were planning on flying in Easter Sunday and staying through early Tuesday morning. However, I found that the Vatican is closed both days. Is this common in other major sites such as the Colosseum, Forum, Pantheon, Borghese Gallery, etc.? I'm having trouble with the websites. Thanks for any help!
