What is the best way to go from Rome to cruise port? We don't travel light.

If you have too much luggage to handle easily then your only choice will be a cab or hired car and driver in the range of a hundred plus Euro. The port is about an hour drive from Rome. Personally I think the train is a good way to go but you have to be able to handle your luggage. The train station is few blocks, half mile maybe, from the port entrance. It is a flat easy walk. Taxis are available but for that short distance they will ask for an arm. We have made that run five times so let me know if you need more details.
