Later this month we will return to Rome and have always wanted to visit the Hypogeum. What is the best way to getaccess to this area?

You can only visit the underground and third tier while on a tour. It is not open to the general public. You can book tours by using the official site: http://www.coopculture.it/en/ticket.cfm?office=Colosseo&id=2 click on the "buy single" icon and follow the prompts. Donna
