Rome Colosseum

Thank you everyone for all of your wonderful responses. One last question (I hope). My husband and I will be in Rome the 1st week of November - how far in advance will the Colesseom with the underground tour be sold out in advance? Again thank you. Anita

For November, I'm not sure and they may not even offer the underground tour in a wet season. With that said, if they will be offering tours, check the website about 2 weeks before the time that you want to book, then try to reserve. Like I said earlier, I made several expensive long distance calls to reserve a timeslot and never did end up reserving. I just showed up about an hour before I wanted to go and checked with them directly @ the tour ticket booth. Good luck. It is a wonderful experience and our guide was very informative. Linda

Linda, thanks so much for all of the info. Truly appreciate it. Will check it out periodically while traveling thru Italy. Wish us luck!

Yes, happy travels Anita. BTW, I lived on Oahu from 1971 to 1985 and the Big Island from 1985-1996. I love the Pacific Northwest though and am happy to be here. Linda

It's hard to say if they will still be giving the underground tour in November. It really depends on the weather. If it becomes to wet (too much rain) they will cancel the tours. The official website has the underground tour available for November. Just enter your dates and pick the time you wish to take the tour. Donna
