Rome - Cane Seat Recommendation

I am looking to go to Rome in October with my active senior mother. We will be on a escorted tour but don't want to over do it. I was thinking of getting a Cane Seat in case she gets tired as I know Rome three is a lot of walking. Has anyone had any experience and recommendations on which one? Is there one that is compact and light weight?

Another option might be a portable stool?

My dad used cane with a flip down perch. You have to be able to balance on it.he gets it in a golf store. I like this stool though. Wonger how much it weighs.

The problem with cane seats is they are very unstable. You need very good balance to use one. Amazon has several models of an upgraded portable retractable folding stool that is quite handy. It's very sturdy, and quickly collapsible into a disc shape with a carrying strap. It fits in my DHs day bag.

ETA, if you scroll down on the link above to the "buy it with" section, the stool I mentioned is the 3rd one by Boreeman
