Hi Fellow Travelers Do flights ever go on sale for Christmas in Rome? I've been checking Kayak since the beginning of March but the price is only going up. Should I buy now or does anyone know if historically flights go on sale sometime during the summer? Any advise would be helpful given this will be our first trip to Rome. Thanks...

On another travel forum, there's been a discussion about how this year has been different from previous ones with regard to airfare. They just seem to keep climbing. There's no way to know what they're going to do with Christmas prices. Sorry. Good luck.

We flew to Rome from Boston last Dec 19 th. I regularly checked the fares for six months. They always ranged between $1200 to $1400 pp rt. I ended up using AA miles. It only cost me 20,000 miles pp each way.
