We are arriving in Rome around 10 am on a Sunday. We are staying in an apartment & suspect we should get to it by 1 pm. Are supermarkets, produce and/or delis going to be open so that we can stock up?

Hi Thomas. We walked around our hotel neighborhood last summer on a Sunday looking for a food store to buy a picnic lunch. About half of them were closed / half open. Enjoy your trip!

Hi Thomas, What area is your apartment in? Quite a few Supermarkets do open on a Sunday now.Some do open only in the mornings, some in the afternoon.
You wont find any alimentaris open though.
