Renting a 1 bedroom apt. In Rome for a week, 3 choices: one is in Monti, one is in the Jewish Quarters (Ghetto), and last one is in Regalo near Campo de Fiori. Which location would you prefer for sightseeing, walking and dinning ? We will be there beg. of May 2024, the one in Monti only has a balconette, but the two other ones have a sit-down balcony. Thank you!

I couldn’t find it on Maps.

I love Monti, but I would choose a place with a balcony.

Regalo is Campo de fiore, and it has a very nice and large balcony. From looking at the map it appears like a good location, but trying to figure out if it’s very far from the Monti district on foot. Guessing 20 minutes?

The Regalo district is close to the Ghetto, and both are about a 20 minute walk from Monti. Monti is close to the Colosseum. The other two are more convenient to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, and Trastevere.

I would also choose a balcony, and which has best access to trains.
