For disco, in my young years, I used to go a lot to the YAB, which used to be a whorehouse before bordellos were banned in the 1950s (I used to go to the disco not the bordello, I wasn’t born yet when it was a bordello), to CLUB21 (in my days it was called Andromeda), FULL UP, and sometimes the SPACE CLUB, which was also popular with Americans. I’ve been to the TENAX also, another famous one, but it’s further out, away from the city center around the airport.
The FLÒ is a very popular bar up at the Piazzale. Didn’t exist when I was in disco age, but it’s a top spot now.
For bars, I used to frequent the LA DOLCE VITA and IL RIFRULLO a lot. There are also new ones now that haven’t been.
