Looking for driver recommendation from Rome Airport to Salerno ferry. Flight from Croatia to Rome lands at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 3 and wishing to take ferry from Salerno to Positano. There is a ferry at 15:30 but don’t think we would make it. Can’t find a train that leaves around 1 from Rome, so that’s why thinking a driver. Any other ferry companies with a later time if we took a 2:00 train from Rome to Salerno?

Go to the Italo Trenitalia website. It has a train from Rome Termini at 12:15 that arrives in Salerno at 2:16. If your flight arrives on time and you get through immigration/customs quickly (YES! Sometimes the gods are with you.), jump into a cab and you might be able to catch that train. Might.
Safest choice is to take a later ferry.

Sure hope there is a later ferry you can get to go to where ever you are headed. ( Positano?)

Thanks for responses. The 12:15 train is cutting it too close for us. Is there only one ferry line or several. We need a later ferry than the one I saw listed at 15:30 pm.

I get the idea you are talking about "tomorrow". This newsboard doesn't have cellphone speed, but it would be helpful to know the month of the year you are making this trip. And why not tell us your actual destination on the ferry? Specifically, if you are going to Positano or Sorrento, there are other options for transport. Yes, you want to take the ferry. But no, you didn't make proper scheduling plans before your bought the plane ticket. So we need to give you all the options you now have. There might be another chance for the ferry during your stay. In August, I would expect the last ferry of the day to be completely full, and you might not get on, even if you get there in time.
Can you afford 90-110 Euros for a car and driver from Naples to ... .... ?
