Family of 5 adults spending 4 nights in Rome, 2 in Florence taking trains. Our seventh (last) night needs to be back in Rome closer to FCO as several of us have early a.m. flights. I've heard the Hilton is within walking distance to airport, but I've found it costly.... don't wish to spend as much for one quick night!! Any suggestions for other closer hotels for airport that you have used? Thanks

We always stay at the Sheraton Gold Parco de'Medici (with Starwood Points) - it's a decent Sheraton and they have a free shuttle bus in the city so we can have our last evening meal in Rome and wander around before going back to the hotel...only pain is they only have one free shuttle to the airport in the morning and it leaves at 8am - which doesn't always work for us...a taxi is 35-40 euros depending on #of people and bags and the hotel will book it for you.
