I need recommendations for a hotel near Fiumicino....the one I have used before is full! Thanks in advance!

Which one have you used? There is a Hilton right at the airport.

Back in 2008 my wife and I had originally booked a room at a Best Western that per the website was a couple km from the Rome airport but it actually was much further (80 Euro cab ride). We paid the cancellation fee and walked-up to the Hilton Garden Inn (Hilton was booked up) and it was very nice and new at the time - nicer than the one's I've stayed in over here.

I have stayed at the Hilton. Very good location, especially for an early flight out.

You may also want to consider finding a place in Fiumicino on Airbnb with a host who will drive you to the airport. When we flew into Rome, we stayed at Broken Wheel Cottage (found it through Airbnb) and for 10 Euro the charming hosts picked us up and brought us back to the cottage, a short 10-minute ride. We made a similar arrangement for our return flight from Malpensa, staying with another Airbnb host who drove us to the airport from her place, which also was just 10 minutes away. In both places, we had excellent accommodations and they were very quiet...you'd never know the airport was so close.
