Near Baggage claim, Is their a place at FCO to get the CIS metro pass for Rome. I am arriving at 4:40 pm and need to use the Metro early the next morning.

You can buy them at the ticket both by the FCO train station. You can probably buy them at other shops in the airporr. You could ask at the information counter to be sure. We always buy 1 or multi day transit passes which are good on the trams, buses and metro.

Are you referring to a multi-day transit pass? If you're going to Termini station, buy one at the Tabac shops which are right outside the front doors of the station or at automated ticket kiosks.

There are Hudson News stands inside the Roma Termini station, a couple just before you exit, that sell all types of tickets: single, daily, multiple days and the 7-day pass. They usually are open until evening.
The daily ticket will not get you into the city, so no point buying it at the airport.
You can also buy it from a kiosk inside the metro station on Minday morning.
