Rome after the earthquake, are any tourist sites closed etc.

I am leaving for Italy next week and need some advice quick. We will start in Venice, then Lucca and then Rome. I am most concerned over the Rome portion of the trip. I think Venice and lucca should be ok
Are there any tourist attractions that have been closed? Vatican, Colosseum etc?
Should I skip Rome on this Trip and go elsewhere?

Many famous sites were temporarily closed to permit inspections by the engineers of the Fire Department. They were all reopened as they found no structural damage. Vatican, Colosseum, Forum, and all other famous sites have all reopened.
The metro subway lines have all reopened after closures for inspections.

Some churches have suffered some minor damage and they are temporarily closed, but they are not the most famous ones, they are not famous tourist destinations:
Church of San Francesco in the rione Monti,
Church of piazza Sant’Eustachio
Church of San Barnaba di Marino.
The Mazzini Bridge is temporarily closed to both pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
If you drive into Rome, the elevated East Freeway (Tangenziale Est) A24 going toward Tiburtina is temporarily closed.

I am there now and was at the time of the quake. I definite felt it - it was strong. However from a tourist perspective everything is normal. As far as I can tell nothing is closed, and people are going about as normal. On the morning a few hours after the earthquake we went to the Pantheon, which was business as usual.

Cathy,
I was in Florence the day of the quake - we felt a minor tremor there. I think the epicenter was close to equidistant from there and Rome.

We were in Rome a couple days later and didn't notice that the earthquake had any effect at all... same crowds in/around major tourist spots both there and Vatican City.
