We will be returning to Rome for two nights in late July and are trying to find central accommodations for a family of five - 2 parents and children aged 24, 19, and 15. On a previous visit, we stayed in an apartment however most have 3-night minimum stays. Hotels are small and once I find one that accommodates all five of us, very pricey. Any suggestions?
Ellen,
We are staying at Residenza Giubbonari (www.residenzagiubbonari.com) this April. It is a beautiful apartment building in which the renters own five different apartments and has a two night minimum. We are staying in one that holds 5-6 people. Prices start at 230 euros a night for five people, which is a great price for a 2-3 bedroom apartment. It's centrally located near Piazza Navonna and Campo de' Fiori, and the owners have been wonderful to communicate with. It also has great reviews. Hope this helps!
Wonderful advice from both of you. Thanks. I have sent a request to Residenza Giubbonari for their lovely terrace apartments and have explored the convent sites as well. Grazie!
