Has anyone stayed at the Hotel Hiberia in Rome. I am concerned about Safety/Location/Convenience of transportation(Bus,Metro). Prices seem more than fair. I will be in Rome in Jan 2011. Thank You.

One of my favorite restaurants is located on the small side street behind this hotel, Ristorante Santa Cristina. The hotel is right by Qurinale Palace where the president lives so safety should not be an issue. You can pick up a bus to pretty much anywhere from Via Nazionale, if you choose not to walk. The metro doesn't run near the hotel but there are no current metro stops near the Pantheon and Piazza Navona anyway.
