Rome - 2 nights - balcony/view

Planning the end of our trip. We are flying out of Rome. We will be coming from Tuscany and spending 2 full days in Rome.
Looking for a place to stay...and centrally located. I know there are so many posts on this subject. But being that we are there for a very short period of time - I thought some people may have different points of view.

Looking at Navona, and Campo dei Fiori area. Reading lots of posts - wondering if this is a good area?
Curious about Trastevere.... but is it too far? We will be there Nov 1 and Nov 2 during All Saints and All Souls Day.

TIA

The Piazza Navona/Pantheon/Campo dei Fiori area is my favorite place to stay in Rome.

Love the first one! Unfortunately it is a 3 night minimum. The suites are also booked. :(

Any other suggestions?

Bravissimo for Hotel Lancelot - small hotel in lovely neighborhood with nearby outdoor market; terrific owners and helpful staff; block from San Clemente and near Colosseo; top floor rooms with balconies - views over the city; great breakfasts included; also wonderful dinners if you choose; RS recommended and also top reviews on other sites; we have loved staying there. Be forewarned that All Saints is a big national holiday throughout the country and all hotels will be booked and cities crowded with Italian travelers plus tourists; reserve as early as possible no matter what city or hotel you'll be in during that holiday
