We are going to be celebrating our anniversary in Rome and looking for recommendations for a nice romantic dinner. Any suggestions?
There's no shortage of romantic restaurants in Rome. Check out Ron in Rome about rooftop restaurants: Rooftop Restaurants in Rome
Are you ready to splurge? If yes, then La Pergola on the precipice of Monte Mario. If no and simply want a lovely dining experience try the stellar La Matricianella. Charming.
I'm sure there are more romantic restaurants but one that my wife and I remember fondly was Al Bric. Small and really good food. The reason I picked it was because it was near the beginning of the RS Nightime Walk. The combination of the restaurant and walk made for a really romantic enjoyable evening. My wife had no idea what to expect and I was the tour guide for her which helped.
I loved Il Gabrielo near the Spanish Steps. It was a romantic wine cellar with soft jazz and great food.

Spirito di Vino in the Trastevere neighborhood is a great romantic restaurant that won't break the bank: http://spiritodivino.it/
