Romantic Coastal Villages?

My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon to Italy. We're hitting the major cities but want to rent a villa or apartment for a week in a little coastal town, preferably in the south. We dream of a villa slightly secluded but near enough to walk or ride bikes into town and to the beach. An old port town would be great. Our conflicts are that we're going in August! and many of the southern Italian beach towns are difficult to access without a car or look entirely residential. We've researched Puglia, Calabria and Sicily already. Can anyone point us to a village we haven't yet heard of? Thanks!

PONZA is really nice. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponza - FAVIGNANA, in Sicily http://www.aurumhotels.it/it/villaggio_approdo_ulisse/ - CAPRI http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capri - RAVELLO or MINORI on the Amalfi Coast http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ravello - CINQUE TERRE is beutiful http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinque_Terre - if you're looking for a villa, try see if you can find something in SABAUDIA (VIPs vacation here in their own villas. make sure to stay on the coast, not in the town) or SAN FELICE CIRCEO http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Felice_Circeo
from Sabaudia and San Felice Circeo you can day trip to Ponza from Terracina port. In Terracina you can also find a Roman Temple and other roman ruins http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terracina
