Roman Tourist Attraction

Well it's no secret Italians are more resistant to taxes than most, so it's not surprising there is some really old 'infrastructure' still in use.

I posted it because this sort of thing i find amazing.

Not nearly a secret but I enjoyed that about Vaison-la-Romaine in southern France. The bridge across the river is still the Roman bridge from 100 AD. I was the first bridge ever across the river and after the modern day flood wiped away the newer bridges it was the only one to survive.

If you looked closely you could tell much of the city street drainage was still using the original Roman drains underneath modern grates and coverings.
