Roman Forum and Palatine Hill Walking Plan

I am visiting the Roman Forum/Palatine Hill next week in Rome and want to create a walking plan through it.
I know Rick Steves' audio guide for the Roman Forum starts at the Arch of Titus, but is there an entrance here? I only have read there is an entrance along Via dei Fori Imperiali and the exit is at the Arch of Titus.

My original plan was to enter Roman Forum from Via dei Fori Imperiali, walk through the Forum and get to Palatine Hill. Then, after I walk around Palatine Hill, I would exit here. This will allow me to be close to the Colosseum since our Underground Tour starts at 12:30 pm.

It was no problem entering the Forum area with a ticket purchased a head. The biggest crowds is at the Colosseum, but if you have a scheduled tour you will be fine. The Forum/Palatine hill area is large so you may not get to see if all in that time frame, maybe come back later after the Colosseum. Prepare for hot bright sun. Not a lot of shade any where.

There are a number of exits and entrances so pick the ones you like. Traffic is not one way. And, yes there are entrances on both sides of the Arch with Arch kind of in the middle between those entrances.
