I’m planning to buy admission tickets for a visit to the Roman Colosseum complex. Is it necessary to print the tickets before arrival at the entrance, or can the tickets be displayed on one’s phone?
I visited the Colosseum in January and displayed tickets on my phone. Usually I would print documents as a back-up, but since I didn't have printer access I had to count on my phone. It didn't let me down:).
Back in October, we entered first at the Palatine Hill entrance. It’s generally much less crowded than the Roman Forum entrance, or Colosseum. We showed our combo ticket on my iPhone and were waved in.
