My husband and I are staying in Rome at an apartment that is near Roma Tuscolana train station, and a little closer to the Furio Camillo metro stop. One day we are taking a day trip to Naples from Roma Termini. What's the best way to get to Termini? (1)Take the metro from Furio Camillo to Termini? Or (2)Take a regional train from Tuscolana to Termini? What would be the approximate travel times and costs? If we try option 2, would we buy tickets that morning or ahead of time? Our train from Termini departs at 7:45am. Thanks!
