We are going to have a Roma Pass for entrance into many museums. We have wondered how they work for the metro. Do you the pass itself into the entrance turnstyle slot and wait for it to pop up to retrieve as you go thru? Any help would be appreciate. Thanks.

This is directly from the romapass website: The card works on a RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) system and needs not to be validated, i.e. it should not be inserted and stamped. Simply touch your card on the yellow reader to get through buses and metro trains. A Green light indicates that the card was read correctly. Donna
