I am trying to buy the Roma Pass PIU card on-line & the web-site will allow me to purchase the Roma Pass but not the Roma Pass PIU card although their site indicates that you can purchase either card. Has anyone been successful in purchasing the PIU version of the Roma Pass on-line?

It's probably like Trenitalia. They probably don't accept U.S. issued credit cards on their website. No worries though, you can very easily get one when you arrive. Just check the Roma Pass website to see exactly where a convenient location is for you. I believe that they are sold at the airport.

Ditto....Italy has a bit of a ways to go when it comes to websites that are user friendly, especially when it comes to e-commerce :(

Hi Sheron,
You can also get the Roma pass at the train station. Rick Steve's has directions in the Italy 09 book on where to find the booth that sells these. We found that to be the easiest.
