Roma Pass/museum tickets

I have been trying to figure this out today. So when we arrive at the airport, it looks like at that time we will need to purchase our Roma pass. That is fine....my question is this, how do we get our tickets to go to the Colosseum? We plan to do that the next morning and do not want to stand in line. The point of the Roma Pass is the pass to the Coliseum, the Borghese Gallery and transportation with ease. Would I just go online once we arrive at our hotel and order the tickets? Or do you have to purchase them on a special site?

I think I just found my answer...Borghese you can reserve your time online at no charge with the pass. And the Colosseum you just go to the ticket line instead of purchase a ticket? If someone could just confirm I am understanding that...thanks

Your pass IS your ticket unless you're also booking a tour (not included in the pass). Your pass will allow you to skip tickets lines but not security-check queues: no one can skip those. Just go to the Colosseum, show an attendant your pass and they tell you where the correct security queue is.

For the Borghese, yes, you must make a reservation if using the pass. Do that BEFORE you get to Rome as time- slots tend to fill quickly. If your trip isn't until March, it's much too early to do that, though.

"For the Borghese Gallery and Palazzo Valentini (Domus Romane), the ticket reservation is required, but free for Roma Pass 72 Hours and/or Roma Pass 48 Hours holders, since the museum allows a limited number of visitors. Reservations are not required for any other museums....

"Please note: for reservations to the Borghese Gallery and/or Domus Romane/Palazzo Valentini, please call +39 06 32810 (open Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm – Saturdays, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm) or send an email to [email protected]."

Do be aware that you MUST be at the museum at least 30 minutes before your time slot to check in and check any items on you that are not allowed in the museum.

Thanks!
I also realized that my youngest will only be 15 when we go. So I am considering just paying for his travel fees. Since it appears he can get free access to the 2 museums. Other museums it depends on where you are a citizen for...
