I'm not sure if I should buy a Roma pass for my 13 year old. I think she gets free admission to many of the sights but I'm not sure if we can still skip the line with her if she doesn't have the pass. Does anyone know how this works for children under 18?
You don't need one for her. She gets in free to the state run sites that are covered by the pass. She will go through the special line with you stopping at the special events desk to pick up her free ticket. There should be no line, but you may encounter one or two people in front of you checking in for a tour or getting a free ticket. You shouldn't wait more than 5 minutes, if that. Bring her passport as proof of her age.
