Roma Pass/ Colosseum Underground Tour Question

My family of 5 will be going to Rome end of June. I would like to book the underground Colosseum tour (OmniTickets) but wonder if this will be rendundant to the Roma Pass? Am I correct that the Roma pass includes entrance to the Colosseum/Forum, etc. but NOT to the underground tour? And if i do purchase the underground tour, it will also include entrance? I hate to pay twice... but wonder if I have to. Thanks for any help!

Yes, you are correct that the romapass includes the colosseum, forum and palatine hill but not the underground tour. You do not need to pay twice if you have the romapass. What you need to do is call to book just the tour. Its a very easy and quick phone call. 011 39 06 399 67 700 Let them know you just need to book the tour and that you already have tickets. They will charge you 9 euros per person for the tour. When they ask for an address they mean an email address. There is a separate line for the romapass. It's on the left. Donna

Awesome. Thats exactly what I needed to know! Last question, how far in advance should I make that call? We will be going there on our first day in Italy so we will have just picked up our Roma card.... not sure if that is enough ahead of time? Or should I call from the states before we leave? Last question - I just saw that the elevators are not working right now for this. YOu must walk down. Would you still go?

The tour books up quickly so I would book as soon as possible, especially since you are going in high season. Yes, even without the elevator I would book the tour. Donna
