Hello I am wondering whether the Roma Pass admission to the Colosseum includes admission to the underground? We are planning to buy the Roma Pass - but just realized the underground tour is available and would like to do it. If its not included we may change our Roma Pass plans. Thanks
Kelley
The underground tour is a separate ticket that you buy when you get into the Colosseum with your Roma Pass. I also was able to get into Colosseum, Palatine Hills, and Forum as a single entry on my Roma Pass..... I just left the Colosseum and walked across the street to the Palatine Hills, and then out the back
of the "hills" and into the Forum.
The romapass does not include any tours. Those must be booked separately. You don't need to change your romapass plans but you will need to call to book tickets for the tour. The number is: 39 06 399 67 700 Call between 9-1pm and 2-5pm Italian time to book tickets. Donna
Donna so if you buy the Roma pass is that admission to get into the Colosseum excluding the tours?
Yes, the romapass will get you into the colosseum if you use it as one of your first two free entrances. There is a separate line for those using the romapass. donna
I'm not Donna but until she rocks up I'll have a go. The answer is, yes or no. Note that the Roma Pass only "pays" the whole admission of the FIRST two places you use it to enter. The Colosseum is bundled with the Forum and Palatine Hill so you do get joint admission if you use it there. After the first two attractions that you use the Roma Pass to enter you ONLY get a discount, some small some large - check the website or literature, on the remaining participating properties for the parts of 3 days that the Roma Pass is valid. It is valid only for the portion of the day remaining - until midnight - on the day you start using it, for the bus, Metro or attraction, all through the second consecutive day, and until midnight on the third consecutive day.
