I've been trying to read all of the convos about the Colosseum entrances/tix and have just come from their website. I want to use the Romapass and see the Colosseum, Underground and Belvedere, but want to use Rick Steves' audio tour instead of signing up in a tour. Will the Roma Pass cover all or will I need to order something else? Can you even see the underground and Belvedere without a tour? Which tickets do I order for this and be able to choose a reservation time? Full ticket? If I purchase the Roma Pass when I get there in early June, I'm afraid we'll miss getting a reserved time. Don't want to miss reservations since they opened up today. So confused and appreciate any help you can offer.

The Roma Pass only covers entrance to the Colosseum (+ Forum and Palatine Hill). It does not cover tours, and the Belvedere and Underground may only be visited with a tour. You will need to purchase one in addition to your pass, and purchase as soon as they become available...which was yesterday for May and June.

I would suggest reading through both Donna's detailed booking info and the discussion following for any other good tips that could be helpful in your situation such as tour reservations for children, if traveling with those. As booking procedures have shifted around a bit over the past few weeks or so, this will be your best resource.

Thank you. I did read through Donna's instructions and tried for the tour tickets. Unfortunately, they're all sold out for the 5 days we'll be there in June. Will enjoy the Rick Steves' audio tour!
