Various comments on this site and others mentioned that the Roma & Più Pass was no longer available. However, according to their website (http://www.romapass.it/?l=en): - Roma Pass can be purchased online and at all our points of sale
- Roma & Più Pass can now be purchased at our Tourist Information Points and in some museums included in the Pass Does anyone have any recent experience to the contrary? Also, If I purchase the Roma & Più Pass, will the transportation to/from Tivoli & Hadrian's Villa be covered? Also, would transportation to/from Castel Gandolfo be covered if we chose to visit the summer home of Pope Benedict? Thanks so much for any help you can provide!
Yes, the roma & piu pass is now available and should cover the trip out to Tivoli. I'm not sure if it covers the trip out to Castel Gandolfo. Donna
Thanks for the info! After checking the website for Villa d'Este, I noticed that the normal admission price was 8 euros (4 euros for the reduced price), but until Nov 4, 2012, the price is 11 euros (reduced ticket costs 8). Does that mean that the entire 11 euro price would be covered by the Roma & Piu Pass if I chose to use it as one of the 2 free admissions with the pass? Or would only the normal price of 8 euros be covered? I assume they have some kind of special exhibition so the price is raised temporarily. Does anyone know if special exhibitions that are included in the price of entrance are also covered by the Roma and the Roma & Piu passes? Thanks!
Yes, any special exhibitions are covered by the rompass with the price of entry. Donna
