My friend and I will be in Rome in September 2024 and naturally want to visit the Colosseum. We intend to buy a 72 hour Roma Pass, which includes entrance to the Colosseum. The Roma Pass website says we still need to make a reservation to enter the Colosseum. I am aware that there is a new ticketing website for the Colosseum and that you can only reserve a date/time one month ahead of your visit. What I don't understand is how you apply a Roma Pass to your reservation. I'm hoping someone has already done this and can help us out. Thank you.

IIRC the FAQ page on either Roma Pass or Colosseum ticket site is where the answer is
Right, directions are on this page of the Roma Pass website; scroll down to #7.1 "For which museums it is necessary to make a reservation? How can I book?"

A caution, tho (with apologies if you already know this): you cannot use the card for transportation to/from Fiumicino airport or for anything at the Vatican. Once you've used to two "free" entries allowed under the pass, here is a list of discounts for other attractions the pass covers;

Note that some of those discounts are pretty small. As well, the list is not completely up-to-date as, for instance, it notes the old price of € 16,00 regular entry for the Colosseum/Forum/Palatine. The new price, purchased at an on-site ticket office, is €18,00.
