Roma pass

We are arriving into Rome Friday night and staying until Monday evening. Is it best to buy the Roma pass online or in person? Is it possible to see the Vatican and colosseum on a Saturday? Will there be other attractions open on Sunday that we can use the Roma pass for?
The Roma pass includes the colosseum correct?

Sorry so many questions. Thanks!

It's possible to see the Vatican & the Colosseum in one day. However I would see the Vatican on Monday when most of the museums covered on the RomaPass will be closed. The Colosseum/Roman Forum/Palatine Hill are open daily. It's easy to buy the RomaPass once you are in Rome, many shops sell the pass.

I would actually visit the Vatican museums on Friday night instead of Mondays. Mondays and Saturdays are the busiest days at the Vatican museums because they are closed on Sundays. Also, I would not try to see the colosseum and the Vatican museums on the same day. It's too much.

Buy the romapass once you get to Rome. There is no benefit to buying online.

Most sites are open on Sundays. The romapass does include the colosseum but not the VAtican.

We agree with Sam and Donna. Their advice is good.
