Roma Pass

Has anyone used the Roma Pass?

I am only in Rome for about 1 1/2 days. I was curious if it is cheaper and easier (from people with experience) to buy the Roma Pass and no have to worry about a separate transit pass?

I plan on visiting The Coliseum/Forum, Vatican City (I know the museums are not included) and the Pantheon.

This is my first time to Europe and am just kind of overloaded on information and prices at the moment!

Thanks in advance!

If you will only be using the pass for Colosseum then no- it won't be cheaper.
The Roma Pass is 34E.
Combo-ticket for Colosseum/Forum/Palatine is 12E.
The Pantheon is free.
A 1 day transit pass is 6E.

The Romapass is not worth it, either get the one-day transportation pass (expires at midnight, not after 24 hours) or just buy some individual tickets - you may be walking more than you think, anyway.

Just buy your entry tickets to the colosseum online at the official website:

http://www.coopculture.it/en/colosseo-e-shop.cfm

You'll be able to bypass the lines with these entry tickets.

For the Vatican museums you can also buy skip the line tickets at the official site:

http://biglietteriamusei.vatican.va/musei/tickets/do?weblang=en&do

The pantheon is free.

As for getting to the different sites, walking is the bet way to see Rome but if you need to catch a bus or the metro just buy tickets as you need them. They are 1.50 each..

In your case the romapass won't save you money and you can easily buy these tickets online and save yourself the waiting in line time. No need to waste more than 20 euros.
