Roma Pass

Is the Roma Pass worth the price? I plan on visiting the Colosseum (Palatine Hill, Roman Forum) the Capitoline Museums, Borghese Museum) Also, is the price different at the terminals in Rome?

You may save a couple of euros, especially if you aren't going to use some other transportation pass. You will have to see the 2 most expensive sights first (usually the Borghese and the Colosseum). Even if you break even, or "lose" a couple of euros, it can be worth it to avoid a long line at the Colosseum. "is the price different" - different from what?

The price is no different if you buy it online or in Rome. The only difference is that if you buy online you need to decide where you're going to pick it up. That may not be an issue but you have more flexibility if you just buy it when you get to Rome. There is no advantage to buying it online. As for it being worth it... the colosseum costs 12 euros to enter. The capitolini museums are 13 euros (if an exhibition is going on) and the Borghese gallery is 11 euros. For the Borghese you would get the reduced price of 6.50 if it was the third entry. So that would total 31.50 If you use public transport 2 times you'll have recovered the price of the pass and been able to bypass the lines at the colosseum. donna
