I have been trying to purchase a Roma Pass online but keep seeing a message that is is not available at this time. Any tips...perhaps I am doing something wrong??? Also want to book the Borghese Gallery...can I do so without the Roma Pass and just pick one up upon arrival in Rome? Need to get a reservation booked ASAP.

You can purchase Roma pass when you get to Italy. Train stations,, airport, TI locations usually have them. We encountered the same problem and I did a lot of research and we decided to buy ours at the TI at airport when we arrive. You must call the Borghese Gallery in order to secure reservations with Roma pass use. They speak great english and were very helpful. You just tell them that you need reservations and that you will have Roma passes. It was pretty painless. Good luck.

The Borghese Gallery requires a reservation. I called for June 5 and was told that it won't be availablle until May 20. So, call 011-39-06-327810 about 15 days in advance and request English for a reservation time only. I'll buy the Roma Pass when I get to Rome.
