Roma Pass

I recently made reservations for Borghese Museum and Vatican Museum online. My credit card has been charged for the Borghese and I have a reservation number. I also has received appointment time for Vatican reservation but have been advised that further confirmation will come a month before actual apoointment. Should I purchase Roma Pass for Colesseum and other sights? And how would I obtain free admission to Vatican and Borghese using Roma Pass even though my credit card has been charged for Borghese? Did I do something wrong in making my reservations? My appointed time for Vatican is 9:30 and Borghese is 17:30 on same day. Should I even consider Roma Pass? I will be in Rome for 2 days.

Vatican is not covered.
If it were me, with two days, one site already paid for, then the Rome Pass is not cost effective.

I can't help with the Galleria Borghese question, but are you sure the Vatican Museums are covered by the Roma Pass? Most Vatican-owned properties are not covered by the Roma Pass. You can use the Roma Pass for the Colosseum and the Roman Forum for free admission, other sights are then discounted after the first two uses of the Pass. The Pass also includes three days of public transportation, which you might not need if you'll only be there for two days. Since you have already paid for the Borghese and the Vatican may not be covered (check the Pass website to be sure), it may not be worth it.

The Vatican museums and other Vatican sites are not covered at all by the romapass. As for the Borghese gallery, there is no way to get a refund once tickets are purchased. Their site states Online transactions are not refundable under any circumstance.. This means that there is no way to use the romapass for free entry to the gallery because you have already paid for it. I would suggest not getting the pass because it will not save you money at this point. Just purchase tickets or a tour of the colosseum online in order to bypass the lines and just visit other sites as you wish to. Donna
