Roma Pass

Our flights to Rome haven't been cancelled YET but I'm pretty sure they will be because of Hurricane Irma (we are suppose to fly out of Charlotte, North Carolina on Tuesday and that is when the hurricane will be passing through North Carolina). Since we purchased our Roma Pass online and there is a "No Refund" policy, I was wondering if anyone knows if we can use these passes say a year from now or maybe two years from now? Thank you!

Here is what the official website states:

Is there a limit date to use a purchased card?

Once purchased, the cards can be used by the holder at any time, within the date of a possible change in the selling price or in the services included in the cards, within 6 months from the purchase date.

Is there any way to reschedule the flight or fly out of another city? I would contact the airline to see if they can help.

Thanks Donna! We called the airlines and until they "officially" cancel our flight, which they haven't yet, they can't do anything without it costing us double what we paid for our tickets.

If the airlines cancel due to the hurricane, they are required to book you on the next available flight with the same cabin and itinerary.
What I would do is look at the flights now, choose flights for the 2-3 days after landfall. Keep those flight numbers with you for when you reschedule.

This happened to my daughter when the Iceland volcano erupted. She was actually supposed to fly from here to Charlotte to connect with her overseas flight but by the time she arrived the flight had been canceled so they flew her back here to fly another day. The moral is they finally got her to Italy. With no additional charge.

If they don't cancel, you still get to use the Rome Pass.
