Rolling Venice Youth Discount Card

Hi! My husband and I are visiting Venice for the first time in August and (barely) qualify for the Rolling Venice Youth Discount Card. We will arrive on the 22nd in the early evening and leave late in the evening on the 24th. Is it worth it to purchase the card? We will be visiting the usual suspects (St. Mark's, Doge's Palace, Correr Museum, Accademia, Geggenheim Collection). Also, since we really only have one full day, should we purchase the one or three day pass? If we buy a one day rolling youth card, can we still buy a discounted three-day vaporetto pass?

The rolling Venice card is basically a discount program. At current rates the card is 4 euros and I believe lasts until the end of the year. You then present the card to get discounts. It seems a good deal since you can get a 72 hour vaporetto pass for 18 euros instead of 31.

The discount for the vapretto is worth getting the ticket. If you're going to the art museums then it is a good investment too.
